Walking in Andalucia’s Eastern Coast

Glorious hills, vast mountains, sandy beaches, hidden coves, and the crystal clear inviting waters of the southern Mediterranean

Looking for fantastic walking holidays in Andalucía?

Look no further, our best selling Andalucía’s Eastern Coast Walking Holiday (known as Costa Tropical) has it all.

Glorious hills, vast mountains, sandy beaches, hidden coves, and the crystal clear inviting waters of the southern Mediterranean. What else could you ask for in the sub-tropical climate of the south of Spain?

Your base is the coastal city of Almuñécar, where the Sierras mountains plunge into the sea and you will find no less than 25 wonderful beaches and coves within the local region. It is a city whose Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish past is still evident through its steep historical architecture & cultural references.

The standout highlight of the holiday is the included excursion on day three, where you will visit the famous Alhambra Palace Fortress and Complex in Granada. Locally known as the “The Red One”, it is only a short distance from your hotel. Alhambra was the last city to be surrendered by the Moors in 1492 and will delve in to the rich history of the area and include a guided tour around the Generalife Gardens, the Summer Palace, Alcazaba, and the Charles V Palace.

Manuel as a guide, informative and helpful. Very good.
Peter & Kay H

The room was lovely and spacious but very noisy in the evening as above the bar. Somewhat disappointed with the food choices for vegans, especially in the evenings, it was basically salad, bread and chips. Manuel was an excellent guide, very helpful.
